During the seventh and eighth semester the diploma collection, presented at the Diploma Gala Show, is completed. The graduate of this major obtains a bachelor's degree. The studies, present a modern approach to educating, future fashion designers, fashion stylists and jewelry designers. The course plan encompasses original educational programs based on the knowledge and lifelong experience of the best educationalists in this field.
Students are familiarized with methods of fashion and jewelry design, including specific production technologies. The school possesses experimental workshops which let students complete their own collections. The ability of journal drawing, modeling and constructing clothing forms with the use of modern computer programs, is also developed.
During the course of their studies, students develop skills in the field of painting, sculpture and photography, while broadening their knowledge in philosophy, art history, history of clothing (with elements of fashion sociology and psychology), and selected copyright issues.
Graduates can design fashion and jewelry both for mass production and for unique collections. Familiarity with computer programs and technical drawing will allow students not only to cooperate with large design teams but also to establish their own design studios.
The graduate is prepared to begin master's degree studies.
