PHYSICAL THERAPY - UNIFORM STUDIES 5-YEAR MASTER PROGRAM

Physcial therapy is an interdisciplinary field combining medicine, social sciences, and physical education and providing students with a broad knowledge base and practical skills. The studies include functional diagnosis, treatment planning, massaging, manual therapy, and biological renewal. The students will also learn about the selection of prosthetic devices, rehabilitation equipment, and treatment in various fields, including orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, and gynecology. The educational curriculum emphasizes professional internships, offering courses in medical facilities such as hospitals or primary care clinics, which allows the students to acquire valuable experience in actual clinical conditions. Graduates of physical therapy will be able to combine medical knowledge with practical skills. They are prepared to diagnose, plan, and conduct therapy in numerous medical fields.

THE CANDIDATE SHOULD:


  • Exhibit empathy and sensitivity to the patients’ needs,
  • Have a high level of manual skills and touch perception,
  • Exhibit an ethical approach to patients,
  • Be able to work in a team and cooperate with other experts
