ACADEMY OF SILESIA AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN VANCOUVER!

We are proud to announce that the Dean of WABiSS - dr inż. arch. Jakub Świerzawski, participated in the 112th Annual Meeting DISRUPTERS ON THE EDGE Conference in Vancouver, which took place on March 14-16, 2024!

The event was organized by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA)

During the conference, the Dean of WABiSS, together with Ming Hu, presented research results titled "Quantifying The Environmental Benefit Of Adaptive Reuse: A Case Study In Poland," co-authored by dr hab. inż. arch. Justyna Kleszcz Prof. at the Opole University of Technology, and inż. arch. Piotr Kmiecik.

The conference is one of the most important and recognized architectural events in North America, gathering representatives from renowned institutions such as Harvard University, Yale University, University of California, Berkeley, as well as European universities, including Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), and ETH Zürich.
