During the conference, Professor Andrzej Bochenek expressed great satisfaction that nursing will be established in Rybnik and emphasized that "Artificial intelligence may replace a doctor, but qualified nurses cannot be replaced. Training this cadre is crucial."
The Associate Rector mentioned that Rybnik has the opportunity to become a city that will develop the nursing sector, and in the near future, it will attract various medical specialists.
"... Let's be glad that we are able to showcase the campus in Rybnik in a new light, one that will be very useful for the city, which is famous for its hospitals. Since the 19th century, we have been a city of hospitals, and all disciplines related to nursing and medicine are part of the history as well as the future of our city," said Piotr Kuczera, the Mayor of Rybnik, acknowledging that Edukatorium in Juliusz also played a significant role in the establishment of the University's branch in Rybnik, which greatly interested the University Authorities.
