About School
On 19-20.04.2024, the VII PLTR Pediatric Radiology Symposium was held in Wroclaw, Poland.
The meeting was aimed at radiologists, especially radiologists with pediatric specialization, neonatologists, residents, medical students and all those interested in imaging diagnosis of children and adolescents.
Dr. n. med. Katarzyna Lipka, a member of the Symposium's Scientific Committee, and dr. n. med. Marek Boba, who heads the Department of Radiology, Imaging Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine at the Academy of Silesia, actively participated in the event.
During the Symposium, dr. n. med. Katarzyna Lipka gave a lecture on “Contemporary imaging of lymphomas in children - the role of PET-CT examination”, while Dr. n. med. Marek Boba shared his knowledge and personal experience on “Usefulness of extravascular interventional procedures in pediatrics”.
